Responsibilities: Responsible for providing Phlebotomy and lab services as outline by UCHC policies and CLIA certified director.
Performs diagnostic/analytic testing of specimens. Interprets, documents and reports test results. Performs quality control testing, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
Complies with good laboratory practice and regulatory requirements.
Performs projects as assigned as well as serves as a resource to laboratory staff and other clinical staff as needed. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED, minimum one year phlebotomist experience preferred, CMA Certification or LPN licensure preferred
